That's right. The rumoured release date is before Christmas. BRILLIANT! |
WARNING |
There may be a VIRUS in the GDI and NOD themes for TS, especially if you got them from TiberiumSun.com. You should scan all the files from the theme (preferably all the files on your PC) or delete the theme. They are currently fixing the problem. |
Subterranean Vehicle |
TSCC had an interview with Rade from Westwood:Ryan: So are there any multi-player only units or structures? |
Two Sites? |
On Sunday, I said that there would be TWO official Tiberian Sun Web Sites - one for GDI, one for NOD. Now, Westwood have registered SIXTEEN domain names for the game. They are mostly just copies of the main site and some don't even work. COMMANDANDCONQUER.COM COMMANDANDCONQUER.NET DAWN-OF-WAR.COM THEBROTHERHOOD.COM TIBERIANSUN.COM TIBERIAN-SUN.COM TIBERIANSUN.NET TIBERIAN-SUN.NET TIBERIANTWILIGHT.COM TIBERIAN-TWILIGHT.COM TIBERIANTWILIGHT.NET TIBERIAN-TWILIGHT.NET TIBERIUM.COM TIBERIUMSUN.NET TIBERIUMTWILIGHT.COM TIBERIUMTWILIGHT.NET |

Release Date (again) |
I know this is really confusing - but I'm confused myself. Westwood now say they are aiming for a Christmas release, but they say that if the game isn't complete, it won't ship. They will lose a lot of money releasing the game after Xmas so lets hope they finish in time! |
Westwood are Seeing Double! |
There are now TWO official Tiberian Sun Websites: tiberiansun.com, for GDI to communicate through, and also the all new tiberium.com for NOD to provide their own broadcasts. |

Newsletter |
Here is Westwood's Tiberian Sun newsletter:COMMAND & CONQUER TIBERIAN SUN WEBSITE RELEASED Westwood Studios, in conjunction with the Global Defense Initiative has launched its official COMMAND & CONQUER TIBERIAN SUN website to the world. WWW.TIBERIANSUN.COM has been designated the only official source of information regarding COMMAND & CONQUER TIBERIAN SUN. Visitors are encouraged to check back each week for new briefing information on units, personnel, and mission objectives, as well as updated information on the epic struggle between the Global Defense Initiative and the Brotherhood of NOD. During a recent press conference, GDI General James Solomon remarked "We would like to thank Westwood Studios for giving us a forum to speak on their official news site (www.tiberiansun.com). With Westwood's new TIBERIAN SUN software, promising commanders will be able to crush NOD influence and terrorism once and for all. We know that when it comes to choosing sides, they'll make the right choice." Westwood Studios President Brett Sperry also issued a statement. "We are pleased that GDI has chosen us to be their voice across the net. In fairness, we have also offered NOD a chance to speak in our public forum, but we have yet to receive a response from anyone in that organization." C&C in Lands of Lore? |
In Land's of Lore 3, there will be six different worlds and one of them, Shattered Desert, is set in the Command and Conquer universe. In this world, you have to defuse a defense system inside a NOD temple. Check out Westwood's site for more info and some pictures. |
Release Date |
Unfortunately, It is now very unlikely that Command and Conquer 2: Tiberian Sun will be released this year. According to PC Gamer UK, who got their information from Westwood, the game won't be released until February 1999. This is due to time taken up over EA's take-over of Westwood. |
