These structures provide electricity to your base. If there is not enough power for all the structures in your base, they will slowly take damage and units and strucures would build more slowly. Also, you will lose power to many things like communication center and most base defenses. You can cut off power to certain ctructures when they are not needed. | ||

The GDI power plants have extra modules which can be added for a higher power output. However, it is still best to build lots of power plants, each with only one module. This is because if a power plant with three modules is destroyed, you will lose a lot of power, but if only one module is lost, it's not as bad. | ||

This upgrade module for the Upgrade Center allows you to use the devestating Ion Cannon. This fires a concentrated beam of chraged ions towards the enemy, destroying everything in seconds, but only affecting a narrow area. It is free once the module has been built, but can only be used after a certain time interval.

This shield surrounds your base, protecting it from the enemy and preventing air or ground attacks. It only works for a short time before overloading, so only turn it on during an attack. This structure is the generator for the firestorm defense. To function, you also need to build emitters, as described below. | ||

These 'wall sections' are the emitters for the firestorm defense. I'm not sure if you need to build them in a wall surrounding your base, or just a few in the center. However you use them, they can only be damaged by missiles and shells, which only do 2% of their normal damage. | ||
